Additional Insurance Information:

If you have a health insurance policy with a company with which your provider participates, we will fill out forms and provide you with whatever assistance we can in helping you to receive the benefits to which you are entitled. However, you (not your insurance company) are responsible for full payment of our fees. We encourage all patients to find out exactly what psychological and neuropsychological testing services your insurance policy covers. The extent of coverage, copayments, and deductibles varies widely in individual plans.

Please note that insurance companies will not reimburse for the academic portion of a neuropsychological evaluation. This includes evaluation of reading, arithmetic, spelling, and written language skills. As a result, evaluation services in this domain can be “added-on” and are charged at a flat-rate fee (see private pay estimates below).

You may also choose to pay for all evaluation/therapy services privately. We can provide paperwork you will need to submit an out-of-network claim for possible reimbursement. Using your out-of-network benefits means paying us upfront, submitting documentation to your insurance, and receiving reimbursement from them. Once again, it is the client’s responsibility to contact their insurance carrier to understand their out-of-network benefits.
